First Post!!!

Meow-hi!! (Or should I say Shalom)

Welcome to my new blog space. I'll keep this post brief, as I'm lazy, and hate writing. I'm writing under the assumption that the people who will be reading this already know who I am, why I've started this blog, where I am currently, and as a result that I'm already behind (as you will see, I in no way share the tardiness panic of my cousin the White Rabbit).

For the wandering stranger that happens to cross this page, allow me a short introduction. I am a restless little black bunni who's far far away from her rabbit hole - farther than I've ever been before. But don't worry, I'm not lost or lonely. I'm an American college student, born and raised (for the most part) in the nations capital and currently winding down my third year at the University of Chicago by finally doing one of the two things I wanted most out of my college experience - studying abroad (I'm also well along in my other college goal, completing an undergrad research project in the Biological Sciences, but that's neither here nor there right now).

This blog will begin as a repository for my experiences during my studies here in Jerusalem, Israel, mostly in the form of video and pictures (again, I hate writing), and potentially will continue with my future adventures (granted, after this trip, they are likely to be much more domestic for a while).

Alas, my time mooching off of wifi here in this cafe is winding down (the owners just cut off the football/futbol/soccer game...how sad), so this no-longer brief post must end. But do come back to this blog from time to time, as my experiences are sure to become curiouser and curiouser...
